My name is Adrian Lujan and I was born in Harlingen, TX. I spent most of my early childhood growing up in Midland, TX being surrounded by family. I was raised by a single mother with the help of several aunts and uncles until the age of 7. Since then, myself, my mother, and step-father have lived in Longview, TX. Originally, my plan for education was to attend the University of Texas at Dallas to attain a degree in Actuarial Science. For various reasons, I turned to Blinn Community College in College Station under a mathematics major. In the summer of 2021, I was approached by my uncle who is a well-known banker in town here at Community Bank. He expressed that he had a close friend who owned a construction company and that his company was short-handed, essentially offering me an internship for the summer of 2021. I took the offer and spent the entire summer working alongside experienced project managers at East Texas Homes, a custom home builder here in Longview, TX. After my experience at ETH, I decided to take it and run with it. I had moved back home during that summer, and decided I was going to attend UT Tyler and attain a degree in Construction Management. Since then, I have learned just how wide a range of opportunity there is in the construction industry. I am currently schedueld to graduate Fall of 2024 and I am looking forward to starting my journey in the construction industry!
