The mixed portfolio consisted of large commercial property assets that were owned by high net worth individuals, investment companies and institutions.Responsibilities included maintaining close internal/external relationships, preparing and presenting weekly Committee papers, restructuring SWAPS with the Capital Markets trading desk, instructing money movements, preparing/processing loan closing documentation, maintaining loan database (Loan IQ), undertaking regular property inspections, testing loan covenants, developing cashflow models, instructing/reviewing legal opinions and preparing Investor Reports for Note Holders, Financial Regulators and Rating Agencies.I was one of three RICS qualified surveyors within the Department and was often drawn on to provide expert property opinions and undertake rudimentary valuations on behalf of the Bank.
