• Working with a team of developers, we created a Cloud vending and security platform using GoLang, Docker, and Terraform.
• Platform was based on AWS but had capability to vend/secure accounts on any of AWS/GCP/Azure clouds.
• Used RBAC to control access to the vended cloud accounts, connected authentication via SSO, and allow business owners to limit permissions to the scope of defined business roles via Active Directory.
• By tying in the backend into ServiceNow, teams across the company could self-service create cloud accounts with built-in default security configuration applied by simply filling in a form and obtaining approval.
• Started building Support and SRE roles into the organization, then helped transfer those duties to a dedicated staff within Cognizant.
