As a Marine Science Engineering Intern, I:- created a 30-Year Wave Dashboard, using NOPP Phase 2 Data and Wave Buoy Management- assisted in San Lorenzo Lagoon Construction Project - Safety Management, and Breach Supervision- helped with an Acoustics Project utilizing PamGuard to analyze and isolate vocalizations of whales/marine mammals- aided with QA/QC checks for Autonomous Hypoxia Mapping in the Gulf of Mexico with NOAA

Vice President of FIU’s Eco Engineering Club, which creates an energy-efficient vehicle to compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Managed teams of engineers, focused on chassis, brakes, and shell. Each year, a fully functional prototype electric vehicle is designed, with teams focusing on materials, aerodynamics, braking, steering, powertrain, electronics, and more.

StartUP FIU is a university-wide initiative focused on fostering entrepreneurship and innovation within the FIU and greater Miami community.As an intern, I helped facilitate entrepreneurship and innovation through the completion of many various projects, as well as aiding in the coordination, planning, and operation of 50+ programs, studios, and workshops, as well as the overall operation of StartUP FIU, engaging 1000+ students.

As a committee member, I helped in the planning and operation of Shellhacks, Florida’s largest Hackathon, with over 1000+ students from around the world who come together to learn the latest technologies, develop innovative solutions, network with top companies, and more!

UPE is the largest student organization for technology at Florida International University (FIU), being a large tech-based community that aims to provide every student the opportunity to develop professionally and technically.

As a participant, I learned about the most relevant topics to successfully run a tech startup through a total of nearly 30 masterclasses led by experienced entrepreneurs and operators. I worked with students from FIU, MDC, and UM and completed the complementary course that worked towards undergraduate and graduates credit courses.
