As an adjunct professor at University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) and a signal officer at US Army, I have a dual role in cyber security education and military communications. I hold a master's degree in cyber security from Webster University and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Prairie View A&M University. I have been teaching and tutoring various math for 8 years, using my expertise and experience to engage and inspire students. I also have been serving as a signal officer in the U.S. Army since February 2021, leading and managing various projects related to network operations, information security, and tactical communications. I have acquired multiple skills and certifications in this field, including a graduate certification of cybersecurity threat detection, CompTIA Security+, project management, and signal intelligence. My core competencies are teaching, analysis/problem solving, customer service, initiative and leadership. My mission is to be a vital asset for any organization, sharing my knowledge and passion for cyber security and mathematics with my environment and colleagues, and to contribute to the defense and security of the nation.
