Metro Digital develops solutions for the METRO global wholesale business. I’m part of checkout team where we started to build a new solution based on microservices and open source technologies. My role was to create a prototype along with a team of engineers and once the prototype was approved we started to develop the solution within dev teams. eSilicon is a semiconductor company, so I was involved in several projects based on manufacturing, ordering and design of semiconductors. My role was to lead a mixed team in Vietnam, Romania and India but also developing a big part of these projects. Most of the projects are based on SharePoint 2010 but there are also many projects using different technologies/ languages such as Java, VBA, SQL (Oracle and SQL Server). I was working on several software systems used by the local administration of Constanta City (Romania), managing local taxes and fees. The applications were client-server built using C#, VB(.net 3.5, .net 2.0, .net 1.1), C++ and SQL Server 2000/2005/2008. My role was to lead a small team and to develop a significant part of those projects.
