A licenced NDORS Instructor and Trainer, working for Sussex Driver Training [WSCC & ESCC] in the Sussex area. My licences cover the NSAC [National Speed Awareness Course], NMAC [National Motorway Awareness Course] and WDU [What's Driving Us]courses. My role responsibilities cover 'training the trainers' in the course content and the behavioural change elements, along with the presentation and delivery of the courses. I also directly present and deliver the two courses to clients at various venues in Sussex. My other role with Sussex Driver Training is to conduct internal monitoring and assessment procedures of the training delivery. This is part of the service providers quality assurance process, to assess that the courses are delivered in compliance with both the required NDORS and Sussex Driver Training standards, and that all service provision protocols are met and professional standards maintained. The process culminates in providing verbal feedback to the Trainers, and a documented report to both Sussex Driver Training and the trainers.

I conduct IAM advanced car and motorcycle tests, set against the skills and competencies set for both drivers and riders, who have undertaken and completed the IAM 'Skills for Life' programme.I also conduct assessments for all age groups of non IAM drivers and riders, wishing to determine their present level of competencies and/or establish a development plan with the IAM; as well as conducting post-test assessments for IAM members wishing to either maintain or further develop their driving/riding skills.I provide support to local IAM car and motorcycle groups, through coaching, training and presentations to further individuals and/or the groups knowledge and understanding.

Assessor for The Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators ITAI - assessing candidates work and practices for transfer through the membership grades.I have represented ITAI at PACTS [Parliamentary Committee for Transport Safety] from 2006 until 2016. Latterly on the Road Environment working group and previous to that, on the Road User Behaviour working group .I was an Assessor for the Council for the Registration of Forensic Practitioners CRFP [now disbanded] - assessing candidates work and practices for entry onto the register within their specialist field.
