As part of my responsibilities I develop, manage and grow a worldwide data collection network to gather live sports data for different sports and across different geographies. It is my responsibility to recruit, train, schedule events, oversee quality control of data collectors’ work, as well as manage the team responsible for quality control and data integrity.As Operations Director I am responsible for:- establishing a team responsible for recruiting and training data collectors, scheduling data collectors, overseeing game-day operations, and continuously monitoring data quality and integrity- coordinating with the Product Development team to ensure that the processes, platforms, and tools support the ongoing data collection- supporting business growth by preparing for and launching operations in new geographies and/or for new sports and sporting events- assuring compliance, reporting against, and supporting audits of regulatory requirements in relation to the services offered, the sports supported, and the geographic areas where data is collected
