When I was child, my mom operated a small company, and I remember helping her to keep track of all the invoices and add up all the expenditures. The enjoyment I derived from helping my mother inspired me to study accounting at the University Libre of Cali.After completing my studies, I was hired as an Assistant Accountant for a multinational company. In this role I performed various duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxation, bank reconciliation, payroll, treasury, reporting, budgeting. During my time in this position I was able to improve the company's cash flow by reconciling financial accounts, particularly those related to cash flow such as deposits given to suppliers by 70%In 2015, I was part of a team that sucessfully implemented the first set of Financial Statements under the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS). This project was completed on time avoiding penalties for the company. My experience here taught me that a solid understanding of financial operations globally.A year later, I was presented with an opportunity to further advanced my career, I accepted a position as an Accountant Manager at an animal health and nutrition company. In this role, I led projects such as implementing ERP System Siesa Enterprise, introducing electronic invoicing, and implementing financial statements under IFRS. The successful competition of these projects enabled the company to achieved its strategic objectives.In 2019 I decided to move to Australia to learn a new language and new culture, I am currently seeking a new and exciting position that will allow me to broaden my experience and skills.
