Product manager for an internal AI product to improve member experience

I have founded and co-led various initiatives focused on improving the experience of our Consumer Analytics colleagues with in-person and virtual events. Examples of this work include setting up team norms across the organization, leading the Analytics Venture Competition for 2020 and 2021, working on understanding retention issues, driving the mentorship program, and generally keeping a pulse on the organization. During 2020 especially I created employee engagement to keep our culture strong during lockdown. This meant creatively bringing together our remote teams across various geographic locations.In this role I lead recruitment operations, improving the way our process works for candidates and interviewers, and serving as a critical link between recruiting and Consumer Analytics team.In this role, I have expanded on my people work and began leading operations across the organization, working to keep our people better organized, identifying critical initiatives and process enhancements to improve the way we work, and being obsessed with the culture of Consumer Analytics.- Developed and implemented company-wide programs to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture - Led initiatives to attract and retain top talent through innovative recruitment strategies and employee retention programs. I led our recruiting process and worked directly with Talent Acquisition to highlight our work and culture to attract top talent.- Collaborated with leadership to design and implement diversity, equity and inclusion programs to create a more inclusive work environment and as a result colleagues felt more heard and seen and thus more motivated- Oversaw employee benefits administration, including managing the process of bi-annual reviews, and optimizing programs to meet employee needs

I was the analytics & product manager of one of the most impactful Aetna campaigns created by Consumer Analytics that educated Aetna members on sites of care depending on their location, needs, and past behavior. Throughout this campaign I led the relationship with Marketing and Data Engineering teams in order to launch series of campaigns using experiment design to continuously test & learn customer behaviors and modify those campaigns as needed.

During this time I not only did data science related work, but also led small teams of data scientists to achieve business impact.

Part of the Advanced Analytics team, focusing on projects involving data science and machine learning. Found my passion for data visualization with R during this time.

During my time at SAS I consulted potential SMB clients across Mexico and the Caribbean to solve their big data problems with SAS software. I worked in various industries: Retail, Manufacturing, Education, Government and the Financial Sector. I led client meetings and hands on workshops in both English and Spanish.I became an expert in various tools to sell software to potential customers and led Proofs of Concept for potential clients to support the LatAm sales teams.

The program "Todos Ponen, Todos Ganan" (translation "Everybody Gives, Everybody Wins") was created to help less fortunate students at the UNAM. During my internship I analyzed school performance of those students part of the Food Scholarship program that my school offered in order to prove the program was working. My findings were used by the School Director, and I modified and created a new interface for students applying to this scholarship, and a survey template still being used.I also participated in events to help high school students find their "calling" and get them excited about math and actuarial science!
