As Prefectural Advisor for Tochigi Prefecture, I was responsible for approximately 40 fellow JET participants to provide training in their roles and support them with daily life in Japan.Responsibilities:- Designing and conducting quarterly training conferences, seminars and inductions- Mediating any conflicts with JET participants and their respective employers- Providing support with cultural assimilation and culture shock - Checking in with the well being of all JET participants in Tochigi- Creating a positive experience and culture for members in the JET Programme

Working across 6 Senior High schools (and 1 Special Needs Education School), I taught approximately 20 classes per week in conjunction with the National English Syllabus.
