As a Team Lead, I architected, designed, developed, and supported features and enhancements for a large healthcare software platform, that is used in approximately 400 hospitals across the United States, including Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic, and others. Primary tools were C#, ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC, web services, JQuery, SQL Server, and Powershell. Source control was Plastic SCM, with Jenkins as an automated build/continuous integration system. Successfully hired, coached, and mentored interns and junior developers to help them move to the next level. I also coached the team in Lean and Agile practices.

Many of our clients used us to go around their unresponsive internal IT teams, and that is a good thing. Once, while at Disney headquarters in Burbank, CA, a Disney project manager told me, our CEO, and a sales guy that he had recently told his internal IT team that "a small software company in Tennessee called Voices Heard Media had set the standard for software development, and that they needed to learn from them". That is the highest compliment I received while at VHM.
