Membership Coordinator
Current- Maintained approximately 4500 accounts in a cloud-based database, creating new accounts (manually & bulk), source & enter missing data (PII, employment, demographic, contact), assess union fees based on several.
- Collect in-person payments, calculate owed amount, logging payment in excel spreadsheet with account info, & applying payments to member’s account; assisting members setup payments via online portal. Log daily payments.
- Oversee 20-32 employers with CBAs, liaising with top management to: provide onboarding instructions / requirements for new union locations, union membership related procedures, union reports, providing necessary forms.
- Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail, telephone, or on-site visits to union locations
- Arrange for debt repayment and if applicable establish repayment schedules based on customers' outstanding balances & policy guidelines
- Provide training for new team hires: intro to Unions, CBAs, terminology, union billing, payment procedures, employer accounts overview, RTW/US, grievance intake, training on legacy system & current system related to.
