Responsible for leading a cross-functional team for the JV governance and successful delivery of annual business plan (with revenues >US$4 billion) of the 50/50 Shell-CNOOC JV petrochemical complex in Huizhou, China. The US$4 billion capex, 1,000 employee JV is Shell’s largest downstream investment in China. The best-in-class facility has won many awards for safety and operational excellence. - Responsible for 3 Asian commodity and specialty chemical business units with annual revenues exceeding US$250 million.- Revamped Eastman’s market engagement methodology leading to margin optimization and creation of new markets via the development and introduction new applications.

Set up BLLP’s business development and marketing function in Asia. Advised regional management team on marketing strategies that led to significant lead generation for new projects, including beachheads in China.

- Led a team to promote Singapore’s oil, gas, energy and upstream petrochemical industries to MNCs.- Led a team to facilitate business partnering between European and Singaporean companies.
