I was hired as part of BP’s proposed acquisition of Woolworths’ petrol stations and its strategic objective to transform Australian retail convenience industry. I was responsible to mobilise and execute multiple workstreams of the program and to manage critical program-level risks. I quickly became the trusted advisor of business leaders of all workstreams in putting in place the required project management structure and in managing the integration delivery, while navigating complex legislative restrictions associated with a large-scale Merger & Acquisition undertaking.I completed my contract role at BP after the announcement from ACCC of their intention to oppose the proposed acquisition.
