Originally hired on as hospital technician responsible for running rooms as well as anesthetic procedures. Quickly promoted to Technician Manager and have been managing 7-9 people for the past 3 years. I continue to be proficient with all technical skills and assist with everyday practices. As a manager my job also includes setting quantities and ordering all inventory, managing log books and ordering controlled substances, scheduling technicians/assistants, maintaining all hospital equipment up to AAHA standards, and training, hiring and disciplining technician staff.

Surgery and room technician for small animals (and the occasional exotic). My job included, but was not limited to, providing routine and emergency medical care to patients. Gained experience with therapy laser and laparoscopy. Note: I was employed by Park Cities Animal Hospital from 2001-2003 during my high school years. This is where I was originally trained and mentored allowing me to continue within the veterinary field at Texas A&M.
