In any area of IT there's only one thing that applies to everybody: the necessity of learning. Don't do that and you will stay behind pretty fast. And I can guarantee that I love learning. I can't promise that I will have the correct answer right away, but I can promise that I will go after it, learning and applying it.In my career I went through a lot of IT fields - from tech support, to developer, to customer relationship and to BI analysis. Everything that I learned in each step helped me in being what I am today: someone focused in solving problems. And to make it clear: a problem has many ways to be solved but not all are right for a given situation. In recent projects I have worked a lot in that premise - sometimes you need to prioritize speed, sometimes it's quality or maybe it needs to be a trick to the eye - you need to know each one of them.As a BI Analyst, I have the capacity to transform data in information. Catch all the random numbers in your system and make them say that sales increased 42% last month. Or maybe that your supply chain needs more careful in step 12. This is what I do: point out problems, create solutions and help the decision-making process.I worked in a lot of different projects since I started. In each one I developed a new skill - I learned some new way to display data, how to fix a bug in the tool, how to optimize performance or UX and sometimes both. From customers of different fields, I worked for big and small companies, who have lots of data from different systems. That gave me some edge when I started new projects and already knew something about the new system I got to face.
