Lead the design and development of Android components (app, HAL services, and framework) to generate and collect logs to support the smartphone development process. The main task is to coordinate the dev team, work with them on solution design, implement new features and help with system issues troubleshooting. A recent project was the R bring-up for both QC and MTK chipsets, working with chipsets providers to implement components to collect, mainly, modem logs. Also, worked to implement Motorola's Dumpstate HAL service, to expose OEM logs to make products Google Fi compliant.In this position, I coordinate with other 8 engineers, that work either on Android code and also on server applications. Also, I am responsible for roadmaps creation and requirements collections with clients, writing down them as user stories prioritization.The project with the largest success was an internal system used to track devices, consolidating complex requirements from the Security/Privacy team with logistics, RH, and R&D. Actually, the system is being used by Motorola and was sold to Google (Pixel) to support their operation.
