As Director of Investments, I was responsible for investment manager selection, asset allocation decisions, portfolio construction, and manager due diligence. As chair of our Investment Committee, I drove overall investment strategy across the firm and guided any strategic and tactical manager recommendations.

As an Investment Analyst, I worked as part of a two-member investment team to coordinate manager diligence on traditional fixed income, equity investments, and alternative investments helping to oversee client assets of $1.5B. I backtested and assessed strategic asset allocation models for use in client portfolios. I produced analysis material, white papers, and presentations on leading investment topics to educate clients and planning teams on topics related to asset allocation, cash flow planning, retirement planning, as well as corporate benefits planning related to RSUs, Stock Options, and other executive compensation measures.

I focused my time on residential real estate analysis, working with industry trends, regional and national appreciation rates, as well as income and cost approaches to valuing single family and multi-family (2-8 unit) structures. I worked directly with major national banks (PNC, Huntington, 5/3) and consumer lending departments to facilitate HELOCs, refinances, or consolidation of personal debt.Special ad-hoc projects included trend analysis for the greater tri-state (Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky) and Greater Cincinnati to forecast growth rates of property, as well as building out an internal database with relevant information that would help bridge communication and information dissemination among the team.
