Adrian began his career by producing short films such as Subterrain, Get the Picture and Love You More, the latter winning numerous prizes and was nominated for the BAFTA and the Palme d’Or. His first feature was The Baker starring Damian Lewis and Michael Gambon. Subsequently he produced The Escapist which was selected for the Sundance Film Festival and for which he won the British Independent Film Awards prize for Best Achievement in Production. He then produced J Blakeson's The Disappearance of Alice Creed which premiered at Toronto. In 2011 he produced Albatross, with Jessica Brown Finlay and Felicity Jones. In 2018 he produced Summerland, the writing/directing debut of Jessica Swale, starring Gemma Arterton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Tom Courtenay and Penelope Wilton and Executive Produced Sweetness in the Belly, directed by Zeresenay Mehari and starring Dakota Fanning, Wunmi Mosaku, Kunal Nayyar and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.His television credits include Whatever Happened to Harry Hill? for Channel 4, The Enfield Haunting, directed by Kristoffer Nyholm and starring Timothy Spall, Matthew Macfadyen and Juliet Stevenson for Sky, which was nominated for three BAFTAs including Best Miniseries. He produced the ten part series Houdini & Doyle for Big Talk, Fox, Sony, Shaw Media and ITV. In 2016-17 he produced Fearless with Helen McCrory, a 6 part series for ITV and Amazon Prime. In 2017-18 he produced Chimerica a four part adaptation of Lucy Kirkwood’s award winning play for Playground Entertainment, Channel 4 and all3 Media starring Alessandro Nivola, Cherry Jones, Sophie Okonedo and F Murray Abraham. In 2019-2020 he produced The Third Day a six part series and live event with Plan B Entertainment and Punchdrunk directed by Marc Munden and Philippa Lowthorpe and starring Jude Law, Naomie Harris, Katherine Waterston, Paddy Considine and Emily Watson. The series was nominated for three BAFTAs and won the Royal Television Society Award for Live Event. In 2021-2022 he produced The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself, an eight part series for Netflix, written by Joe Barton and executive produced by Andy Serkis and Jonathan Cavendish for their company The Imaginarium. In 2022 Adrian joined Sky Studios as Executive Producer - Drama.Adrian is a graduate of King's College Cambridge, the Industry Course at the National Film and Television School and the Inside Pictures training programme. He was named a European Producer on the Move, a Producer to Watch by Variety, a Star of Tomorrow by Screen International and a BAFTA Brit to Watch.
