Project Engineer - Plant
CurrentTechnical engineering role, providing engineering support and technical advice to CPB Contractors’ construction divisions across Western Australia, Northern Territory, and South Australia.Key Responsibilities included: • Managing End-to-End asset life cycles, development of asset strategies and asset life cycle plans, utilising OEM models, third-party parts and services, and historical information.• Examining asset performance analysis and identifying opportunities to improve reliability and reduce expenditure. Enabling, influence and supporting the maintenance teams to achieve these.• Development of capital business cases for replacement and new asset purchases, focusing on providing cost-effective innovative solutions that reduce emission generated.• Working with tender teams in collation and assembly of market plant rate assessments across internal and external suppliers.• Developing and maintaining system data integrity and process and procedures that ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and all company business standards, process, and group policies.• Ensuring compliance of assets to industry standards and client specifications.• Providing technical engineering solutions and support to project teams across Western Australia, Northern Territory, and South Australia.• Undertaking and periodically reviewing asset risk assessments in line with legislation and Australian Standards.• Management of the JDE CMMS maintenance system. Ensuring system data integrity. Key Achievements within role: • Assisting with the successful tendering, mobilisation, delivery and close out of the following major CPB Contractors’ projects:- BHP South Flank Mining Area C Bulk Earthworks- Rio Tinto Robe Valley Mesa B/C/H/A projects- FMG Iron Bridge Wet Concrete• Capital procurement of over $30 million in plant and assets. Procured in line with CIMIC's procurement and asset management strategies.
