While working at Zeiss as a master thesis student and later as a researcher I gathered hands on experience about intraoperative assistance functions based on optical coherence tomography. My thesis was dedicated to exploring the possibilities of reconstructing 4D OCT scans for ophthalmic surgeries. I actively engaged in optimizing swept-source laser-based OCT prototypes, allowing me to develop a comprehensive understanding of this advanced technology. Moreover, I delved into the world of fiber-based miniaturized optics, gaining valuable insights that fuel my passion for innovation and discovery. Previously I was working part-time at FZI on a machine vision project where I could enhance my programming skills and deepened my knowledge of CNNs for image processing.At Bosch I could combine my enthusiasm for the automotive industry with my knowledge of optical technologies. During this traineeship I contributed to the development of new testing and validation methods of camera systems for ADAS application.I am now actively seeking new chances to apply my wide range of skills and expertise, while also continuing to investigate cutting-edge technologies.

We were combining a vision based classification approach with a point cloud provided from a laser scanner. Through this project I gained application specific experiences with the ROS framework and Gazebo simulations, as well as the libraries of OpenCV and PCL. Furthermore, I investigated the explainability of deep neuronal networks with feature visualization and pixel attribution methods. -

I used MATLAB regularly and occasionally Python for the evaluation of the measurement and development of new scripts. I also wrote my Bachelor thesis during this time at Bosch from the topic of the distortion of the camera image caused by the windshield.
