• Developed and implemented mapping, localization, path planning, and navigation algorithms in C++, Python, ROS for controlling autonomous mobile vehicles, robots, forklifts, and excavators.• Developed and implemented a terrain perception system for autonomous excavators. 1. Utilized ROS and CAN protocols to collect raw terrain data from LiDARs and stereo cameras and applied sensor fusion.2. Developed a data wrangling algorithm in C++ to process raw terrain data.• Programmed a patented algorithm that calculates the total excavated volume in real-time using GPGPU/CUDA in embedded computers.• Implemented a new algorithm for pallet recognition software for autonomous forklifts with a detection accuracy rate of 99.9%.• Spearheaded 8 autonomous solution projects from start to finish.
