(Apprenticeship contract with CNAM Aix-en-Provence)-Thermo-mechanical simulation on a tail-pipe.-Set up of a test bench to compare materials thermal properties. -Restructuring of a material database. Products: mechanical sub-assembly (super alloy, rivets, welds), thermal insulations, composite materials. Tools: Catia, Patran-Nastran. Areas: mechanics, stress, heat & material science. Achievement: calculation/simulation used to test materials and designs. External test results have been used for material choices and calculations. Today one material chose and tested with my test bench is currently used on an aircraft.
