Research on the development of biomaterials for biomedical device fabrication with Dr. Iman Noshadi.-Focused on the synthesis and purification of bio ionic liquid (BIL) as a porous hydrogel material for tissue regeneration-Practiced distillation and purification techniques such as the use of the rotovap and setting up column chromatography -Observed immunohistochemistry staining for detecting protein markers and H&E tissue staining to obtain cell structure information-Learned the appropriate protocol for seeding and passaging cell culture-Assisted in the production of smart self oxygenating tissue (SSOT) where voltage is applied to the electrolyte and electrode solutions to generate oxygen in diabetic mice

-Built a resource of publicly available tumor multi-‘omics molecular datasets for data scientists at AI/oncology companies affiliated with Red Cell Partners to use in their research-Compiled a list of molecularly and clinically annotated patient tumor samples generated by national and international public and private efforts-Generated descriptive statistics per database pertinent for data scientists doing clinical research in precision medicine-Completed my own original precision medicine bio marker queries using one of these databases in lung cancer
