Lead management of the Accountability Framework initiative (AFi), encompassing all core programs, engagement, capacity building and training efforts to ensure effective and strategic performance. Drive efficiency in internal systems, partnerships and growth of advisory services through strategic oversight of stakeholder engagement, and training initiatives for Framework uptake.

Managing the strategic development and coordination of projects in biodiversity and protected areas, renewable energy, value chain development and green economy, natural barriers for disaster risk reduction and regional sustainable development; also serving as gender focal point and ensuring the integration of gender into all programmatic areas. Led successful fundraising and programme development efforts with key donors to expand and ensure continuity of value chain efforts.

The Environmental Cooperation for Peacebuilding Programme at the UNEP Post-Conflict and Disaster Management Branch works on the role of natural resource management in conflict prevention and peacebuilding programmes worldwide. As a Project Advisor, my portfolio focuses on the role of natural resources in disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) programmes in partnership with UNDP, the role of women and natural resource management in peacebuilding in partnership with UN Women, UNDP and the UN Peacebuilding Support Office and assessing the risks and opportunities for post-conflict peacebuilding in natural resource management. Current field work is focused on Sudan (DDR) and Cote d'Ivoire (Natural Resource Management Risks and Opportunities Assessment), with broader thematic focus applied globally. In addition, I support the development and delivery of trainings and policy guidance on the above related topics through the Integrated DDR Training Group.

Led development of innovative partnerships between UNDP and UNCTAD BioTrade Initiative. UNCTAD BioTrade seeks to improve the sustainable use and conservation of biodiversity through trade, including though international policy processes and private sector engagement. The work includes the development of new guidelines and knowledge products to support the implementation of BioTrade, coordination of multi-stakeholder international working groups and preparations for major conferences and events, including Rio+20, COPs of CITES, CBD and others. Led project proposals for UNDP country offices integrating BioTrade as post-crisis recovery and livelihoods options and drafted new policy standards around natural resource management and climate issues.

Researched Public Private Partnership opportunities for financing MPAs. Supported work on initial stages of Human Atlas Project.

Supported the Latin America and Caribbean Ocean program with support on research, grant writing, and design of workshops for government officials in Mexico. Actively participated in meetings on program design and logic frameworks.
