OHNIN is a partnership of Ohio healthy food retailers, producers, state agencies, and local partners working toward a shared vision of affordable access to healthy, local foods. OHNIN oversees the delivery of Produce Perks at farmers markets and retailers and Produce Prescription programs across the state. OHNIN established this community-engaged Advisory Group to strengthen our approach to equitable program growth.

The Ohio Farmers Market Network’s mission is to support and educate farmers market managers, producers and their stakeholders, in support of resilient, direct-to-consumer marketplaces.

To educate, engage and expand our customers’ perspective on the local food movement. We do this through sustainable agriculture and showing the economic value of buying locally grown food and products directly from growers and artisans.

Managing and overseeing all committee activities: including frequent large neighborhood events, beautification of front lots, welcoming of new neighbors, accounting, membership, publishing of directories/newsletters and addressing neighbor concerns.

Instructing painting sessions, implementing front desk operations, sales, bartending, staging, equipment maintenance, and all opening/closing activities.

Vegan sandwiches, soups, salads and raw food items.

I am responsible for the entire "morning bake" which includes almost 20 different types of artisan bread and 30 different types of pastries (scones, muffins, cookies, beignets, croissants, danishes, Bavarian twists, soft pretzels, etc). ...and all by the time the store opens at 8am. It's a fast paced, varied, and fun job that I am enjoying quite a bit! Plus, I can really get behind the mission of Whole Foods Market. Come and see me sometime! I work from 5am-1pm three days per week. :-)

Built and sold a thriving, holistic, wellness center from the ground up (now doing business as "Mantra Massage & BodywoRx" with 3 locations). The business grew during the recession while providing superior services at a reasonable cost; I created a fun and relaxed atmosphere for the staff resulting in very little turnover. Areas of Strength: Vision, strategic listening and response to clients, public speaking, organizing teams, knowledge of holistic modalities, and overall excellence in marketing/branding. ——-0——Mantra Wellness Center focuses on pain relief and stress reduction. We offered a broad variety of healing modalities including, but not limited to: massage therapy, acupuncture, reflexology, reiki, tibetan medicine assessments, ashiatsu oriental bar therapy, life coaching, cranio sacral therapy and much more.We also offered a variety of classes such as meditation for beginners, reiki certification (est. 1994) and many others such as aromatherapy, gemstone therapy, infant massage etc....We love what we do and it shows. We provide one-on-one personal attention and know our customer's names because we KNOW them (not because we looked at their chart). When it comes to massage therapy we really can't be beat. You get gifted practitioners and will receive every minute of table time that you pay for... plus, each and every massage is customized to your body's specific needs on that particular day. At Mantra, we know that everyone who walks through our doors will be better off for their visit and we are honored that they choose us as part of their healing and wellness plan.Thanks for reading!

Identified significant deficiencies and material weaknesses and found cost-sensitive solutions. Enhanced team morale and communicated complex issues. Developed communication skills to explain complex issues to clients and auditors.
