As Point Blank's sole in-house Developer, I am responsible for:• Building pixel-perfect, responsive, accessible, front-end web products using HTML + CSS, JS, PHP, and Ruby on Rails. • Understanding and integrating a broad range of platforms (Google Analytics), CMSs (WordPress & NationBuilder), and feature integrations (Zapier, Action Network). • Scoping and building samples, docs, and developer content.• Effectively estimating scopes, timelines, and deliverables.• Researching broader feature sets and best practices, and embedding them into the agency’s workflow.• Collaborating with the Creative and Strategy Teams to continuously present clients with new products, concepts, and effective solutions to fit their goals.

Tourism Cares is a 501c3 that unites the travel industry and is a catalyst for positive social, environmental and economic impact for the people and places of travel. To achieve this, Tourism Cares enacts lasting change in the way the industry does business for the people and places it serves. Alongside Tourism Cares 160+ industry members, Tourism Cares creates opportunities, empowers communities, amplifies culture and protects the environment while fostering diverse perspectives and building inclusivity and understanding.In this role, I was responsible for:• Identifying effective strategies to resolve, sustain, and evolve programmatic work to reflect the changing landscape of the travel industry.• Creating focused assessments, project management and evaluation frameworks to review programs, partnerships, grants, and scholarships.• Communicating technically complicated topics on sustainability, social impact, and DEI, simply and elegantly for our audience and end-users. • Representing Tourism Cares as a passionate public speaker to audiences large and small, print and digital, virtual and in-person.

As Planeterra’s Director of Development, I was part of the leadership team tasked to strategize, restructure, and scale all global fundraising revenue streams. This included pitching and stewarding corporate partnerships, individual investors, internal fundraising initiatives, and grant writing. Additional skillsets utilized included internal and external communications strategies, brand development, public relations, event management, and Board of Director governance.

As the Program and Communications Manager (Asia-Pacific and Africa), I managed a portfolio of 18 programs across 10 countries. These programs brought long-term livelihood and job opportunities, increased income, and resources to women, youth, and communities.A few notable achievements: • Collectively lead the strategy development for Planeterra's most ambitious campaign, 50in5, to bring 50 new social enterprise programs to market in five years with a $5M fundraising target.• Oversaw a major disaster relief campaign raising and implementing over $220,000 CAD to support female entrepreneurs, porters, and guides directly impacted by the 2015 Nepal Earthquake.• Developed G Adventures Animal Welfare Policy and implemented a company and supplier-wide audit across all product lines.• Provided recommendations and guidance for Planeterra's partners, SASANE, to apply for the United Nations World Tourism Organization’s Innovation Awards, and achieving a win in 2016.• Speaker at the inaugural CSR Day at ITB Asia (Singapore) on "Developing Community Tourism Businesses as part of the Tour Operator Supply Chain" in 2015.• Panel Speaker at Women's Travel Festival (NYC) in 2014.• Recruited, hired, and scaled Planeterra’s talent, onboarding and doubling the team.
