I am a fourth-year student at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, majoring in communication with a minor in sociology. I also have a strong foundation in journalism, and I am driven to create connections and uplift the voices of my peers and underrepresented communities.  Alongside my studies, I have gained valuable experience in the healthcare field by working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and caregiver. These roles have allowed me to provide person-centered care to individuals, furthering my commitment to ensuring that all people have access to quality healthcare. With the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, ever-changing health policies & procedures, and the threats to reproductive healthcare, I am deeply motivated to take action and advocate for meaningful change in our healthcare system. I am dedicated to leveraging my education and experiences to become a strong advocate for healthcare reform and contribute to creating a more inclusive and equitable society for all. This drive has also led me to actively engage in community outreach and volunteer work, where I can directly support individuals in need and contribute to initiatives to address systemic issues.I am eager to continue positively impacting and driving meaningful change in the healthcare and media sectors. I hope to connect with those who share similar passions!
