Kids Life Imagery Foundation, a registered non-profit organization on Saba officially launched on November 17, 2011 to teach photography to school children. However, we have been active for two years prior.The Foundation’s mission is that photography creates a big impact on our students as it teaches them to have a different perspective on the world around them; creativity, imagination, and building self-esteem. The way students use photography is as the medium and the camera as the tool that allows them to capture their own imagination in a unique way by teaching them to be photographers. By doing this, the students gain confidence, empowerment, self-esteem, and hope.The Foundation’s goals is to teach children photography in a way that they will enjoy learning and at the same time photography will create an impact that they will continue to embrace, either as a hobby or profession. “When you learn something, you have to learn it from somewhere. This is why we exist, so as to be a starting point in a child’s life for them to learn photography” said Aaron Soares, Chairman.
