As Chapter Director for HOPE worldwide, I get the privilege of working with approximately 3000 volunteers spread throughout eleven regions the NY METRO area. Our mission is to volunteer & serve the poor and needy in the NY METRO area. My responsibilities include training, inspiring and motivating the volunteer regional advisory group of over 40 men and women. In 2014, together as a staff, we increased our volunteer effort by 30% following that up with a 50% increase in participation in 2015. As a Director, I am responsible for administering and managing the Chapter’s financials and operations as well as overseeing and supporting the Chapter’s benevolence programs and projects. We work together with each region to design their own unique manner of operation & projects. The goal is unity; having clear expectations and support so that the members in the local area and community at large will be able to access the blessings that come with having a local HOPE worldwide Region.Additionally, it has been my pleasure to also serve on the NCAB - National Chapter Advisory Board.

Served the church by developing, coordinating and administering an effective and comprehensive activities program to enrich the fellowship of the congregation, and provided leadership to and supervision of staff members and volunteers involved in this ministry.Recruited, trained and motivated mentors from all age groups. - Coordinated planning with other staff members to ensure high quality activities at conferences and retreats.- Taught / Lectured twice a week to audiences from 50 to 1000. Pioneered Small Group Ministry groups throughout our congregation of 600 adults. Supervised and mentored all Leaders & designed leadership track training. - Administer the work of the Department of Activities by encouraging teamwork, mutual support, and by providing leadership and nurture to staff members who work in the department.- Established departmental goals and objectives by prioritizing related programs, managing the use of facilities, planning an appropriate budget, delegating tasks and evaluating progress regularly.- Worked with appropriate committees, officers and leaders to carry out the activities ministry of the church.- Helped plan effective staff meeting and impacting retreats.
