Experienced in civil litigation including general commercial, contract, personal injury, administrative and family law disputes.Successfully advised, represented and appeared for clients (consultants, claimants and respondents) of the highest level (including various organs of state at national, provincial and local level, major banks, the largest listed property holding company in South Africa and international offshore companies) in a wide variety of contentious matters.Instructed both as junior and as exclusive counsel in a broad range of legal issues including claims for breach of contract, contractual and delictual damages, enforcement of restraint of trade clauses, intellectual property disputes, building disputes, company law matters (including personal liability of directors and derivative actions), matters relating to commercial and residential immovable property (including compliance, lease disputes, execution against immovable property under mortgage bonds, evictions and sectional title disputes), personal injury claims against the Minister of Police and the Road Accident Fund and disputes surrounding the administrative actions of organs of state.
