Valkyries primary work is involved in designing and producing specialist versions of mundane items for use and sale in hotels and shops. They take regular items and modify them using the aid of computer design programmes, before casting these into resin to serve as a master for aluminium or bronze casting.Day to day work includes Admin roles such as receiving a dealing with customers, filing, creation of documents/file systems and working with online databases/websites. Specialist technology roles such as computer and software maintenance, operation of 3d scanners and Rapid prototyping machines and operation of 3d modelling software.

Working directly with the manufacturing division of Games Workshop. Using manual dexterity to be able to take models out of mould without excessive loss of parts or damage. I was expected to use quick observation skills to try and maintain a high level of quality control while still maintaining a respectable production rate. Interaction with cell leaders and other managers was essential to keep the work on-going, but the ability to work independently was very important in this role.
