Worked with business and engineering to define go-to-market strategy and product roadmap. Evaluated competitors and market for emerging trends.Principle software architect and UX lead:Co-led the architecture team defining Calix next-gen SXA software platform optimized for cloud native multi-tenant applications. Modular microservices architecture with fully public, semantic versioned API, and object lifecycle registry. Introduced the use of MVVM and behavior driven testing. Wrote most of the front-end for initial release.Outsourcing management:Built a 20+ person offshore team from the ground up. Through emphasis on communication, team relationship building, proactive risk management, and performance incentive programs, we sustained high performance/morale, with minimum attrition. The success case led to the creation of a wholly owned R&D subsidiary in China with 200+ engineers.IT and Hardware Labs:Working with IT to introduce agile processes and tools which were subsequently deployed company-wide.
