Andrew Judge qualified as an architect from Bolton St. DIT, Dublin in 1994. Gaining experience in London and Australia, where he worked with BVN, architects for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Andrew returned to Dublin in 1999 where he rejoined Hamilton Young Architects.After becoming a director with the practice Andrew relocated to HYA's Sligo office in 2004 where he spent twelve years, specialising in the conservation of Protected Structures, as well as a number of residential and healthcare projects. Andrew returned to the Dublin office in 2015 where he has continued to work on historic structures as well as projects including the redevelopment of Naas Racecourse.Hamilton Young Architects is one of the leading Grade 1 Conservation practices in Ireland, and Andrew is an RIAI Accredited Grade 3 Conservation architect having gained experience from working on a broad range of historic projects including the restoration of the Methodist Church in Sligo, the Glebe House Gallery in Donegal, and the restoration of Boyle Courthouse in Roscommon.In his spare time Andrew is the author of a children's book series for Scholastic UK with his brother, illustrator Chris Judge.
