Director/Senior ArchitectI joined Hamilton Young Architects as a Senior Architect in 1999, having previously worked in private practice in Belfast, Donegal and Sligo. I became an Associate Director in Hamilton Young Architects in 2001, and was made a Director in 2005. I currently have overall responsibility for the firm’s education projects, as well as being involved at a senior level in all other aspects of the practice’s work including residential, commercial and office developments. In my role as Project Architect I have supervised and coordinated the delivery of the following services:Site and Buildings Surveys, Feasibility Studies, Outline Sketch Schemes, Master-Plans, Presentations to community and client based interest groups, Detailed Design, Specifications and Schedules, Cost Estimates, Pre-Tender Health & Safety Plans, Pre-Tender Estimates, Tender Actions, Tender Evaluation Reports, Final Contract Documents, Contract Administration, Certifications, Defects Reports and Final Accounts.
