Hey! My name is Austin and I'm from Simpsonville SC. I am a junior at Clemson University studying Physics and Mechanical Engineering. Outside of studying, I work for the Clemson University Football team as an equipment manager, and as an undergraduate research assistant in the Clemson Headgear Impact Performance (CHIP) Lab. In the CHIP Lab, I focus on studying how effectively various football face masks dissipate force, and my work for the football team involves organizing, setting up, and participating in practice and games. Both of these extracurricular activities provide the ability for me to develop a multitude of skills including coding and biomechanical analysis, as well as team coordination and leadership.
