I work closely with the editor, overseeing the magazine’s regular pages, including writing and editing the hotel and London pages, putting together the gift guide, and interviewing talent for our Final Approach page, which details a memorable travel experience. I have interviewed everyone from award-winning actor Adeel Akhtar to Olivier-nominated actor and writer Taz Skylar. I pitch and write features, proofread all pages and act as a brand ambassador at events, keeping High Life at the forefront of the travel conversation, and growing my book of journalist and PR contacts.I'm a regular contributor on High Life digital as well. Through effective networking, I arranged aninterview with double Academy Award-winning actor and producer Cate Blanchett, which was recently published online. Increased DMA site traffic through effective networking and bringing high-profile marketing creatives and industry leaders to the DMA. Provided in-depth DMA Awards coverage for our three Winners Series events and Grand Prix Reveal event, increasing campaign awareness and attendance for upcoming events. Boosted user engagement by creating the DMA Awards: Work that Wins series, which allowed our judges to share my content via social media. Served as a DMA representative for the Best Writing category and the Best Travel & Leisure category for the DMA Awards in 2020, and in 2021, I returned as a DMA representative for the Best Writing category. Played a key role in setting up and executing a new email template project, increasing CTR for roundups by 0.42% from August 2021 to September 2021 & 1.18% above June. The email template project also saw 0.28% increase in the open rate from August to September. Edited white papers for the Research and Insight team, which helped to distil complex marketing challenges and business goals, and produce focused creative briefs. I created impactful content strategy, implementing effective, functional content across all digital platforms.

I contributed to multiple outlets and projects across North America, Europe and Australia:Wrote features for several magazines and newspapers, including Bold Traveller, WhereTraveler®, Avenue Calgary and the Calgary Herald. Created content for the GORE-TEX website (targeting outdoor adventurers) at AKQA, an award-winning global digital agency. Utilised SEO to highlight words and increase search ranking by appealing to non-GORE-TEX consumers. I was brought back to assist with the GORE project, educating and driving user experience for specific audiences, including firefighters and electric utility workers, on GORE technology and its benefits.Edited 15 articles about couples from different backgrounds living in Cyprus, Israel and Palestine for the photojournalism documentary project Taboo.Borders, which was shortlisted for the Luma Rencontres Dummy Book Award in 2020.Wrote 15 stories and blog posts about travel, hotels and food for Boutiq, the peer-to-peer travel recommendation app and website, and edited over 100 tour descriptions for GetYourGuide, an online marketplace for travel activities.
