Set up and led the Vendor Management organisation.Reported to COO.Results:• Centralized all vendor-management activities at Robeco. • Formulated policy and ambitions Vendor Management at strategic level.• Implementation of governance models for Robeco's major Vendor relationships.• Reduced total number of vendors from >300 to around 235.• Realized substantial total cost savings at vendor level.• Implemented standard management reporting on vendor performance and budget spending.

Ad interim replacement of the head of IT and Facilities at SAM Group.Reported to COO. Results:• Established a professional IT organization with the associated tools (incl. introduction of Prince II methodology for project and program management). • Realized cost savings through integration of IT and Facilities in the offices of Robeco Switzerland and SAM Group. • Letting of 1000m² office space (substantial cost saving).

Set up and led international IT organisation. Reported to CIO. Results:• Defined the international IT strategy and IT governance, chairman of the steering group.• Implemented an IT strategy and governance system in the field of infrastructure (network, data centers) and workplaces (workspace configuration).• Organized international IT days for senior management to increase cooperation, save costs and implement a global mandate.• Responsible for downsizing and closing Robeco Belgium's IT facilities as a result of a strategic business reorientation; multiple relocations of sales offices in Poland, Spain (Madrid) and Bahrain, and establishment of IT support contracts (Shanghai, Japan, Korea, Bahrain) together with local IT vendors.

Reponsible for defining the informations needs of all Corporate Departments (Legal, Fiscal, Marketing, Communications, HRM, Controllers' Office, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance etc) and translating them to possible IT solutions.Examples are: CO; global implementation Peoplesoft modules, Compliance; implementation software for tracking of employee stock transactions (legal requirement), Legal; implementation software for electronically storing and tracking of legal entities etc.

Responsible for defining the information needs for the Controllers' Office environment and translate them to possible IT solutions.Responsible for setting up the globale mandate and implementing Peoplesoft modules at Robeco Investment Management (New York), Banque Robeco (Paris) and Harbor Capital (Chicago) to support global governance.

Responsible for all mass-contact with clients of Robeco Direct. Mass contacts through phone, internet and writing (for example 4 million transaction statements a year).
