My professional career started back in 2003 at export departments in different industrial sectors until I moved to Japan as trade consultant in the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo. I entered the audiovisual sector in 2008 through the holding platform Imagina in Madrid (currently Mediapro Studios), where I was in charge of distribution of a wide portfolio in Asia, Middle East and African markets. Three years later I moved to Barcelona to lead the animation department at Edebé, a subsidiary of an educational publisher. During this time I was involved for first time in executive production and joined the national producers’ associations. In 2015 I co-founded my own company, Peekaboo Animation, with my partner Javier Galán, where we create, produce and exploit animation TV series for children such as "I, Elvis Riboldi", "Rocky Kwaterner", "Mironins" and "Audrey's Shelter". In 2022, Peekaboo was awarded 'European Producer of the Year' at Cartoon Tributes.In 2019 I was elected as Chairman of ProAnimats, the association of independent animation producers headquartered in Barcelona, becoming then VP a PROA (Spanish Federation of Independent Producers) and DIBOOS (Spanish Federation of Animation & VFX). In 2021 I was also elected member of the board at Animation in Europe, the European federation of national associations of animation producers, acting now as Vice Chairman. Since 2017 I am also teaching at LaSalle-URL University at the Animation & VFX degree.
