Alex Foreman utilizes his ability to think logically and embrace creative ideas to understand and develop solutions to complex problems. In the workplace, he communicates effectively to share ideas and learn quickly from others.Growing up Alex was in the Boy Scouts of America, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout service project, he worked with the city to add benches along one of the backcountry trails in the area. Alex was in charge of organizing fundraising efforts, working with the city to decide on the locations of the benches, working with the city's approved contractor to obtain the materials, and organizing volunteers to prepare and install the benches over the course a few days.For his senior design capstone project, Alex worked on a team of three CS students alongside his clients at Medtronic to develop a proof of concept search tool framework. The framework enables the client to create, manage, and schedule easily plugged-in customizable online marketplace scrapers to detect products and keep them out of potentially dangerous hands.
