As a Scrum Master, my goal is to be the calm voice in the room that helps teams separate the drama from what is most important; delighting their customers.Career Accomplishments:• Delivered new software validation policies, validation templates, training, and several pilot projects for Abbott Diagnostics Scarborough, Inc's Quality Management System (QMS) Integration project serving as team lead for Non-production Software group. Leveraged knowledge of Agile Leadership, Scrum, and Kanban to maintain team’s velocity during a period of project suspensions due to Covid-19 test kit expansion activity. Non-product software was the only QMS workstream to deliver all 2020 milestones and a backlog outlining 2021 milestone delivery.• Leveraged Scrum framework in combination with Kanban boards and product backlog to ease team members transitions from on-premises to remote work. Fostering an environment of transparency, inspection, and adaptation I was able to increase collaboration and engagement in an environment where business support was 95% focused on Covid-19 manufacturing expansion. Shift in team operations also allowed domain experts from other divisional sites to pool resources, share domain knowledge, and accelerate milestone completion at participating sites.• Led the non-product software team in evaluating and remediating a backlog of 16 applications. Worked with consultants, business units, software quality teams, engineering, and laboratory staff to validate software and spreadsheets to comply with FDA 21 CFR 820.70, Production and Process Controls and CFR 21 Part 11, Electronic Records; Electronic Signature regulations.• Lead Unum’s OpenText Exstream document design and generation upgrades with updated software, new infrastructure, and new capabilities, delivered 6 months ahead of schedule.• Rescued Customer Communications Management, CCM, project by assuming at-risk infrastructure delivery, organizing a multi-company team and delivering a fully functional and documented network solution a week prior to deadline.• As a Release Coordinator, reduced time commitment for release activity by 75% and returned team to a predictable delivery model.• Refocused a 6-member contracting team which decreased the impact of project blockers and increased the likelihood of meeting deadlines.
