Responsible for tax review and compliance for the Transsion Group companies• Tasked with leading and execution of monthly and annual tax compliance (payroll, PAYE, WHT and VAT returns, Transfer Pricing) for the Transsion Group of companies.• Monthly review and analysis of tax transactions on SAP to ensure completeness and accuracy to avoid tax exposure.• Prepare return review data and offer responses to queries raised during the review process.• Charged with mitigation and resolution of tax risks and ensuring tax compliance for business units in the country.• Tax advisory on the tax implications and tax planning measures for transactions with both local and international entities.• Responsible for leading and resolution of KRA audits and assessments.• Tax training and alerting management of any tax law changes and how they affect the business.
