In this role, I am responsible for producing Universities UK’s portfolio of events. This involves talking to the sector to find out the most important issues and forming these into event agendas with thought-leading speakers, to ensure that the sector is provided with timely, relevant and critical information.

• Delivering a wide range of events, from lunchtime talks, to forums and careers fairs• Administering local arrangements for careers events, including venue booking, arranging catering and equipment, final delivery of event and evaluation• Liaising with all persons involved in the event, finalising details with the conferences team and answering queries from speakers and exhibitors• Creating marketing material for the Careers Service, including, but not limited to, annual publications, fair brochures, information leaflets, plasma screen adverts and posters• Acting as first point of contact for students, employers and departmental staff during regular reception duties
