About Agneta Åkerhielm

I am a business oriented executive leadership coach. I have more than 20 years’ experience of working with leaders and their executive teams to measurably improve their leadership and organizational effectiveness. My experience covers a range from Executive Coaching, Management Team development, Leadership Development and Executive Search. I am driven to create significant positive change. I offer executive coaching, guidance and development of leaders. I use a structured but still bespoke coaching framework that offers a psychological safe, trusted environment that supports growth. My academic interests are Management Team Efficiency, Organizational culture, Leadership and Psychological Safety. Recent years my concentration on effectiveness in Management teams has grown rapidly. Research indicates that Management Teams are largely underused and less effective than their potential would suggest for value creation. I offer a research-based model and program for Management Team Development, based primarily on the research of Henning Bang and Thomas Midelfart. I provide a structured process with training of the variables that empirical research has found to be robustly related to management team effectiveness. I guide and coach leaders to develop their leadership and at the same time grow as humans. Clients describe me as someone who rapidly builds trust and is highly supportive; enabling me to be both challenging and direct, always in service of encouraging leaders to grow.
