Arnaud currently works as Associate Director of European Union (EU) Policy at the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), a global conservation organisation working to save wildlife and wild places worldwide through science, conservation action, education, and inspiring people to value nature. In his current position, Arnaud works on the science-policy interface related to biodiversity conservation, wildlife trade, One Health, and pandemic prevention, and engages with EU institutions and the Belgian government on conservation issues. In his previous position with WCS Mozambique in Maputo, he worked as program manager to strengthen management systems and coordinated counter wildlife trafficking work. In 2011, Arnaud conducted research on the management of mangrove forests in Malaysia and has several field experiences working with sea turtles in Malaysia and numerous wild animals such as howler monkeys, endangered macaws, and sloths in Costa Rica. He served in intergovernmental organisations including the United Nations Development Programme and the European Commission. He holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University in New York City.
