I am passionate about supporting all learners, and have co-edited the book ‘Disabled Students in Education: Technology, Transition, and Inclusivity’ (2011) when working for the UK Centre of Excellence for Teaching and Learning – Active Learning in Computing. Recently I completed working on a project spanning four post-secondary institutions in Ottawa aimed at supporting students with disabilities to gain employability skills and find meaningful employment (#AbleTo - David C. Onley Initiative for Employment and Enterprise Development).Prior to moving to Canada, I worked at a large university in the North of England for over 10 years as academic manager, lecturer, researcher and curriculum developer. I worked for many years in Business school at Leeds Beckett University (UK), teaching courses such as Project Management, Operations and Supply Chain management and was the program lead for Ba(Hons) Business Studies and Ba(Hons) Business and Management Distance Learning.I love seeing the world and have worked in Germany, the UK, Hong Kong, Canada and travelled world-wide to present at research conferences.
