I have worked as an agronomist in the Midwest for over a decade. I have a B.S. in Applied Plant Science from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. in Crop Production and Physiology from Iowa State University. I have focused my research and career on increasing support and visibility for sustainable agriculture in the Midwest. I am a Certified Professional Agronomist and an Iowa CCA and I currently work as a conservation agronomist for Heartland Cooperative in central Iowa. Prior to Heartland, I have worked as a technical agronomist, sales agronomist, and research agronomist for various companies based around the Midwest.I am also a 2022 Nuffield International Farming Scholar studying conservation farming adoption in major grain producing countries around the world. My professional and personal goal is to increase conservation adoption across the farming landscape in the Midwest. I strongly believe that conservation and agriculture can and should work together and I enjoy putting my energy and passion to work in achieving that goal.
