AppalAction is a community organization focused on creating new and innovative systems and supports to empower community members and address poverty, systemic inequities, housing, racism, LGBTQIA+ discrimination, and other needs as identified by members and the community. AppalAction also has a growing mutual aid network across southern Ohio that is built on solidarity, community care, and radical love. It is built from the knowledge that systemic failure occurs frequently and community continues to show up and ensure that the needs of our neighbors are met. AppalAction is working to become a 501c3 organization to continue the work and support of our community.
