In an educational institution, one of the programs that can form ready-made human resources is apprenticeship activities. With an apprenticeship, students can practice, match the theory that has been obtained during college with the actual situation in the field or the world of work. The things that become reference tasks during this internship are:•Understanding the production process of oil palm processing from the arrival of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) to the production of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKO).•Understanding the management of palm oil mill utilities such as boilers, turbines, generators, and Water Treatment Plants. •Serving as a laboratory staff, responsible for administration, service, research, and development management.•Supervising and controlling the operation of generators, turbines, and boilers in accordance with standard procedures.
